Results of Day 3 of Qatar Goodwood Festival

The third day of the Qatar Goodwood Festival had seven races.

Trainer Mark Johnston’s Communique won the Matchbook Best Value Exchange Handicap Stakes; a mile-long race for three-year olds.

Trainer Roger Varian’s Pilaster won the Qatar Lillie Langtry Stakes; a 2800-metre contest for three-year-old and upwards fillies and mares.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien’s Land Force won the Qatar Richmond Stakes; a Group 2 contest for two-year-old colts and geldings over 1200 metres.

Trainer Charlie Appleby’s Wild Illusion won the Qatar Nassau Stakes; a Group 1 race for three-year-old and upwards fillies and mares over 2000 metres.

Trainer Richard Fahey’s More Than This won the Telegraph Nursery Handicap Stakes; a 1400-metre contest for two-year olds.

Accordance won the Markel Insurance British EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes; a Class 2 race for two-year-old maiden fillies over 1400 metres, giving her trainer Mark Johnston his second win on the day.

Trainer John Quinn’s Lord Riddiford won the Tatler Handicap Stakes; a 1000-metre contest for three years old.
