FARAA AL SHAQAB and DA MAGIC MOMENT star among stallions and mares

Horses owned by Al Shaqab and Nasser Mohammed Mesfer Al Hajri picked up two championship golds each on third and final day of the 27th Qatar International Arabian Hors

While FARAA AL SHAQAB emerged as the Champion Stallion leading a one-two for the owners in the championship round, Nasser Mohammed Mesfer Al Hajri’s DA MAGIC MOMENT, who had also won the 19th Qatar National Purebred Arabian Horse Show in December 2016, was adjudged the Champion Mare in the championship.
In the mares championship saw Al Nasser Stud’s RIHAB AL NASSER and Royal Cavalry of Oman’s AJA EUROPE won silver and bronze respectively.

Among the stallions, bronze went to Al Hajri owned GAZWAN AL NASSER, who had won the crown along with Da Magic Moment in December 2016.


Al Shaqab’s second championship winner was MEDAN AL SHAQAB, who was adjudged the Gold Champion among the Junior Colts, with Al Nasser Stud’s BADIEA AL NASSER and Hamad Alkarani’s GHAZI AL NASSER picking up silver and bronze respectively.


JALMOOD UMM ALUDHAM, runner up in Class 4B, won gold for Al Hajri with a win in the championship round for the Yearling Colts, edging out Al Shaqab’s SARMAD AL SHAQAB, 4B winner, and Al Reeh Stud’s AMIR AL REEH.


Al Nasser Stud had a winner in the Yearling Fillies Championship courtesy ARWA AL NASSER who beat Al Shaqab’s duo, GREEN AL SHAQAB and RAJHAH AL SHAQAB, for the gold.
