Qatar International Cup and Qatar International Trophy, two of the most prestigious races of Qatar racing calendar, will be held on February 26 at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club’s (REC) New Rayyan track. The 25th race meeting will be a historic with both the main races carrying prize money worth US $ 500,000 each. Qatar International Cup is open for Thoroughbred while Pure Arabians feature in the Qatar International Trophy. This is the first time ever that a Pure Arabian race is being run for half a million US dollars. Besides the money at stake, both races have quality horses and should be exciting to watch. Lady riders too will be seen in action in the Fegentri race for Local Bred Pure Arabian Graduation Plate.
